Remember to put a rack on the wash room entryway, as well - this space is generally unused and it is a disgrace to squander it! Simply ensure the things you keep there are verified, else you will have things taking off each time you open or close the entryway!
For separate rooms, shelving may be open. It is not as critical as to what kinds of materials are used, though some will still prefer wooden shelving. Others will simply add some plastic shelving that can hold quite a bit on each level. Closing the door to the room will keep things out of sight, but having separate areas for each item will still provide the homeowners with easy access for making meals or working in the kitchen.
One of the major problems in any kitchen is storage. While working on your kitchen interior design, make room for a large kitchen pantry, even if it is in another room. You will thank yourself for making the room, and I do mean room. If you can only afford the space of an old broom closet, then use it wisely with a modular shelf arrangement that you can change at will. But if you can design a walk-in pantry, you will love having the space and having the supplies at hand. Consider tip out floor level bins for your major ingredients - flour, sugar, rice, etc. You can buy in bulk and save a ton of money.
You may need to dedicate SOME floor space to an end wash room cupboard, or bedroom set, for those various little things that you need promptly available. In any case, it is dependably a smart thought to put cabinet dividers in to ensure your things arent rattling near and getting chaotic.
